[ thankfully, Peter arrives soon after sending off the last message. He's not exactly sure himself why he sought him out for help with this sort of thing... Peter just seemed knowledgeable about a lot of things. And he'd talked about weird insect formations before, so why not?

He opens the door and draws him inside quickly, wasting no time pointing to the large golden egg quivering on top of the kitchen table. It's even got a nice little sand bath to keep it warm. ]

It's been doing that for ten minutes now.
