And then equally as gingerly aborts the effort with a grunt of pain, and instead just scoots a little more upright to squint at it.]

It's not from Macha—but it did come from Dagger, so it could be deadly. [ Though, considering she's had it around for a few months and hasn't died yet—well, it could still kill her someday, who knows. ]

He gave it to Ed, and since Ed is useless he gave it to me. [ More like Ed knew she liked plants, but she tries not to give him any credit if she can help it. She has a rep to maintain. ]
